The Credit Union Young Leaders of Manitoba (“CUYLM”) has launched the Manitoba Credit Union Student Bursary Contest. CUYLM is a committee of young leaders (age 40 and under) who work in the Manitoba credit union system. Details for how to enter the contest are outlined below. All eligible entries will be reviewed by a selection committee. The selection committee will establish shortlist of entries that most effectively convey the video/social media post criteria (what the student likes about credit unions and how the bursary will make a difference to them). Up to two bursaries of $2500 each will be awarded to the top candidates selected by the committee from the shortlist.
Contestants must follow CUYLM on social media and share their submission video or post in a Facebook or Instagram story.
Contestants must be able to provide proof of enrollment at a Manitoban post-secondary university, college or certification or have plans on attending a Manitoba post-secondary institution upon high school graduation.
Preference will be given to new and existing members of credit unions
